As a concerned and vital member of Sandpoint, the health of Kochava’s employees and local residents, is our primary concern. In light of global precautions for the COVID-19 Coronavirus, and building upon recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO), Kochava is taking every precaution necessary to ensure the health and safety of everyone in our community.
There have not been any confirmed cases in Idaho or more specifically in the North Idaho geographical area. However, the consensus is that it is only a matter of time. We are taking diligent steps to keep our employees and community safe. A proactive approach to mitigating the exponential spread of the virus is to implement “social distancing,” practice consistent hygiene, and limit large group interactions. We are seeing cascading efforts in this respect across the nation with school closures, remote learning, widespread sports and events cancellations, etc.
In line with doing our part to help slow down the spread of COVID-19, Kochava is implementing a travel ban on ALL in and outbound travel for employees and candidates, until further notice. We are also implementing office-wide remote work starting Monday, March 16.
We will continue to supply our employees with ongoing resources and information on the status of the situation and how proactive management and decision making can make a meaningful impact on our community and those around us: How canceled events and self-quarantines save lives, in one chart.
This is an interesting time to navigate for all of us but, remember, we are all in this together. By staying vigilant, aware, and mindful of our daily hygiene we can persevere.
On behalf of Kochava, we are keeping those directly affected by this virus in our thoughts.
