Advertiser clients are covered under existing service agreements and do need to complete these steps.
The California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) is a comprehensive data privacy law that builds upon the existing California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and enhances privacy rights for California residents. It introduces new provisions such as the creation of the California Privacy Protection Agency (CPPA) to enforce and implement privacy regulations, expands the definition of sensitive personal information, introduces new rights (e.g., the right to correct inaccurate personal information), and establishes additional obligations for businesses, including mandatory annual risk assessments and data retention limits. The CPRA aims to strengthen privacy protections and provide individuals with greater control over their personal information in the digital age.
Kochava is dedicated to compliance with required regulations and as such, is requiring integrated partners to agree to abide by the terms of CPRA via the TOS below.
