Your New Kochava Experience
Throughout 2024 and the first quarter of 2025, our product team has been hard at work incorporating feedback from many of our customers to optimize the Kochava dashboard and overall customer experience. Having completed a beta testing period with a customer focus group in Q1, we’re excited to announce that the new Kochava experience will be released to all remaining customers later this quarter.

Our new, efficient design lays the foundation for more exciting updates coming in 2025 and beyond.

Apple Search Ads View-Through Attribution (VTA)
View-through attribution (VTA) reporting is now available within Kochava for your Apple Search Ads (ASA) campaigns. Beginning March 27, Apple released enhancements to the AdServices framework that allow mobile measurement partners (MMPs) to retrieve VTA-based attribution claims. Marketers utilizing an MMP have a new level of granular visibility into view-through attributed conversions.
For advertisers running active campaigns on ASA, VTA is on by default. VTA can be disabled within the Kochava Partner Configuration for Apple Search Ads. This setting is managed individually across each iOS app in your account.
Please note that when activating first-time Apple Search Ads integrations on iOS apps in the future, the setting is auto-on and needs to be disabled manually if you wish to block VTA.

TikTok Legacy Integration Deprecation
Effective March 31, 2025, it is no longer possible to create new trackers within Kochava Campaign Manager for the legacy TikTok integrations TikTok for Business – Android and TikTok for Business – iOS. Through April 29, Kochava and TikTok will process attribution and populate reporting for legacy integration traffic. Effective April 30, legacy integration attribution ceases processing along with any new reporting.
This change marks the final phase of TikTok’s migration to a self-attributing network (SAN). If you’re actively running campaigns with TikTok and believe that you may still have campaigns traversing the legacy integration, please consult this related blog post for additional details and important steps to take.

Modeled Attribution for Snap
As of February 21, Snap has upgraded its partner integration with Kochava to an Enriched SAN. This update enhances performance insights for your Snapchat campaigns.
The enhanced SAN integration leverages privacy-centric methodologies to ensure that user data remains secure and protected, while allowing for attribution modeling against all ad impressions and clicks from your Snap campaigns.

With more robust and accurate attribution data, marketers will see improved return on ad spend (ROAS). Specifically on iOS, the new integration helps marketers overcome challenges posed by privacy updates (e.g., Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework), allowing them to more fully measure lifetime value (LTV) and optimize campaigns, while maintaining user privacy.
